About Julie Fisher

Guiding businesses to grow intentionally and strategically.

I believe the most successful businesses are built on more than great ideas. They're built on clear vision, thoughtful strategy, and the confidence to make informed decisions.

That's why I chose to become a Fractional CMO.

I'm passionate about giving business owners access to the same level of strategic marketing leadership that larger organizations rely on, empowering them to grow stronger brands, make smarter decisions, and create lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Your vision started the journey.

Together, we'll build the strategy to help you reach your full potential.

My Story

My career began in the service industry - retail and restaurant management in high school and college - then, onto account management and territory sales roles, where I consulted with businesses, sold in products and/or services, and built books of business that grew revenue.

What I quickly discovered was that building relationships mattered more to me than simply getting a signature. Not something taught in Business Administration at Cal State University of San Bernardino, but I never negate my college Bachelors Degree nor my alma mater!

However, I wanted to understand businesses beyond the basic decision making that tends to go on when talking revenue growth:

       What were their challenges?

What were they trying to accomplish?

What would actually help them grow?

That curiosity followed me into phone book advertising sales during a time when websites were becoming essential and Google PPC was entering the market. Our organization was one of the early providers of these digital solutions because we worked directly with businesses ranging from small companies to enterprise organizations.

I remember looking at my advertising campaigns, PPC results, and websites and asking myself one question: Why were some businesses signing on with me and renewing their programs while my colleagues  accounts weren't?

I had to find the answer because I didn't exactly know. So, I asked a few of my business accounts and what I learned made an impact and it stuck with me.

It shaped everything I do today: People buy from people they trust. They choose businesses that understand them, listen to them, and create a connection beyond the transaction. The solution matched the problem.

That philosophy and that process guided my career and is also the foundational concept behind the strategies I create today as a Fractional CMO.

My Process

What sets my process apart is that I start with understanding your business before recommending a strategy. I look at your goals, challenges, audience, brand, and current marketing efforts to identify opportunities and create a clear path forward.

When working with me, you’ll gain:

Clarity in your marketing direction — understanding what to prioritize,  where to invest, and how your marketing supports your business goals.

A strategy aligned with your vision — connecting your brand,                  messaging, customer relationships, and growth objectives.

A strategic blueprint for growth — creating the foundation and direction for your marketing strategy, followed by an actionable roadmap to bring it to life.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all marketing solutions.

Every business has its own story, strengths, challenges, and opportunities.

My process is designed to uncover what makes your business unique and build a growth strategy that works for where you are today and where you want to go next.

My Experience

My background spans more than 30 years across marketing, business development, account management, sales, and leadership roles. That diverse experience has given me a unique perspective on how businesses operate, build relationships, attract customers, and create sustainable growth.

Throughout my career, I have worked with organizations ranging from small businesses to enterprise-level organizations, gaining experience across industries and business models. Each role strengthened my ability to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that connect goals with outcomes.

My experience includes:

Fractional CMO leadership and strategic marketing guidance for businesses seeking executive-level marketing expertise and growth strategy. Established Fisher Marketing Services business in 2025 to continue in legal marketing, but expanded to add professional service-based businesses in 2026.

Co-Chair for the Legal Marketing Association's Digital & Social Media special interest group from 2023 - 2025, volunteer role and member.

In-house Marketing Director for high-volume plaintiff law firms, leading marketing strategy, brand development, digital initiatives, and growth efforts.

Business consultant for a Southern California grant‑based organization supporting pre‑venture and established businesses with compliance, financial planning, marketing, and growth/expansion measures.

C-suite level account management for government prison contracts, managing complex relationships, RFP processes, and high-value accounts.

Insurance agent with the Automobile Club of Southern California (AAA) and Liberty Mutual, developing consultative sales skills, building a book of business, and understanding the importance of trust-based client relationships.

These roles helped prepare me to move from an intrepreuner to an entrepreuner. One who fully respects what it takes to start up

a business and create momentum that will impact market

readiness and business growth.
